Bent Penny Revival has been a force in the Kentucky music scene since 1998, and this 7-piece powerhouse shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. With a lineup that packs guitars, saxophone, bass, drums, keys, and a frontman all onto one stage, the band brings a full, layered sound that hits you from every direction. Whatever genre you want to put on them, they'll probably play right past it. The band has built their reputation the old-fashioned way — by showing up and delivering. Six completed gigs across venues like The Cellar Bar & Grille in Williamsburg (a three-show stomping ground they've clearly made their own), The Mint Gaming Hall Cumberland in Lexington, and 34 S Main St in Winchester speak to a crew that knows their regional turf and works it well. With seven musicians on stage, there's always something to watch, something to feel, and something to talk about on the drive home. Supported behind the scenes by Dave Congleton, Bent Penny Revival runs a tight operation that makes booking easy and shownight even easier. If you're looking for a band that brings energy, experience, and a full ensemble sound to your venue, these are your people. Reach out today — your stage is waiting.

Cliff started playing at the age young age of 14. Cliff's first opportunity to watch a live performance was of the band known as the “The Web”. It was their lead singer, Charlie Lynch that inspired Cliff to join several bands throughout his high school years. It was during these years that Cliff realized that music would always be a passionate part of his life. After the “Motley Kru” years, Cliff had the opportunity to join “Silver Creek Band” where he became friends with “Bent Penny Band” keyboard player Scotty. Cliff and Scotty enjoyed almost twenty years of success while playing with Silver Creek. The band toured regionally and opened for such national acts as “Sawyer Brown” and “The Oak Ridge Boys”. After leaving the Silver Creek band, Cliff stopped playing for 18 years and focused on his family and career. Cliff met up with “The Bent Penny Band” through a mutual friend of Rick and Randy Warner, and was recommended for an audition.
